Meet The Doctor of Chiropractic
Kristian Einshoj B.Sc, M.Sc, DC (Doctor of Chiropractic)
Director/Principal Doctor of Chiropractor
I was born in Denmark and moved to the North-east of England in 1988. While contemplating studying medicine, I became aware of the benefits of the holistic approach of chiropractic at the age of 14 after developing stomach problems that were successfully resolved following chiropractic care. Of particular appeal was the approach of not just treating symptoms but improving the function of the spine and nervous system to allow the body to heal naturally while at the same time addressing lifestyle factors to optimise overall health and wellness. The choice was made to study chiropractic instead.
Following graduation of a three year degree course in Human Biology from Leeds University, I went on to complete the five year Chiropractic degree course at the Anglo-European College of Chiropractic in Bournemouth in 2003.
Since then I have worked in associate positions in chiropractic clinics in South Shields, Sunderland and Doncaster and settled in York in 2008 to open my own practice, The Chiropractic Wellness Practice. In 2012, I expanded the practice by moving to new premises and re-branding the practice as Live Well Chiropractic.
With our new team and premises in place we are now in a position to serve the York community to our fullest extent and are enjoying helping to improve the lives of people and families of all ages.
In my spare time I enjoy travelling always try to combine this with my passion for life-long learning in all matters related to health and wellness whenever possible.

I was recommended to see a chiropractor after my back problem caused me problems with walking and bending that prevented me from following my normal lifestyle along with lack of sleep and constant use of pain killers.
I started seeing Dr Kristian Einshoj twice a week, crawling in for treatment and walking out feeling wonderful. Medication soon stopped and I continue check-ups at four to five week intervals to improve and maintain my lifestyle. Kristian has been a great confidence booster and I now walk with more confidence, no pain and an improved posture.
